SAUVIGNON BLANC

Overview:
This Sauvignon Blanc is produced from a selection of grapes from our Marlborough vineyards located in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. A combination of both barrel and cool tank fermentation has added complexity and interest to this intensely flavourful wine.

Region:
Marlborough

Recommended Food:
Beautiful on it's own or it works well with a white meat dish. Also great with seafood - try fresh scallops or prawns tossed through a green salad!

Recommended Cellaring:
Best enjoyed while young.

Production Notes:
After harvest the grapes were quickly crushed and pressed into stainless steel tanks where the juice was fermented at controlled cool temperatures to capture the intense varietal flavours. The wine was then blended and bottled.

Technical Notes:
Alcohol: 11.5%
TA: 8.0g/l
pH: 3.49
Residual Sugar: 2.6g/l

Tasting Notes:
This wine displays lifted tropical fruits with notes of capsicum. There is a passionfruit entry on the palate coupled with citrus and wild cape gooseberry notes that linger, and are quite literally mouthwatering! This is a balanced wine with lovely texture.
